“The Background”
The impact of climate change is a daily reality for the world’s poorest.
Already suffering the crisis of poverty, it isn’t just their lives and homes that are now under constant threat of unpredictable disaster—the very ecosystems that have sustained them for centuries also face irreversible destruction. As rising temperatures, melting glaciers and deforestation drive floods, monsoons and droughts at an unprecedented rate, these communities are heading for a future where their land can no longer sustain them and entire generations risk being wiped out without immediate action.
“Effects of Climate Change”
We know we cannot change the past but, if we act quickly, we still have a chance to create a different path ahead—one where the most affected communities can do more than simply survive but build a resilient and thriving future for their children, too.
We are working with thousands of vulnerable families living in the Ganges River delta—a vast climate hotspot spanning three countries and home to 10% of the world’s population. Through sustainable solutions like climate-adaptive farming, ecosystem restoration and disaster preparedness, we are helping these communities harness their natural resources. By combining local knowledge with cutting-edge scientific expertise, we can plant tomorrow’s seeds today.
Over the next two years, we will reach 51,000 people with this urgent work—but we need your support to make it happen.
Can you bring Adaptive Agriculture, Disaster Resilience and Sustainable Governance to hundreds of families facing the deadly impact of climate change and plant tomorrow, today?
